The cost of having a wedding these days is getting totally out of control. The typical price of a wedding is in the five figures. This cost is totally out of the question for most parents; therefore, many couples are opting to have smaller weddings and making many of the arrangements and details themselves. Today, it is not unheard of for a guest to provide the wedding cake as their wedding gift to the bride and groom.

There are hundreds of ideas on making wedding favors from very elaborate to very simple. Many times, the buying and making of the wedding favors are done by a guest or family member and then given to the bride and groom as their wedding gift.
